Damn, It’s Happening Again!
I saw her at the far side of the pool
My heart began to pound,
I felt like a fool.
I knew that she could tell,
I could see it in her eyes,
She would never return my love,
Or stay close to my side.
Damn, it just happened again,
There she was standing by the rail,
Watching the all the players,
Working on the field.
It was obvious to me,
That the players were her goal,
That she would never see,
That she possessed my soul.
Damn, it is happening again,
She stands but five feet tall,
As she leans against the wall,
Alone she appears to be,
And just waiting there for me.
Damn, here comes her man.
Damn, it happened once again,
It happens everyday,
Every time I see a girl
Coming or going away,
Damn, there I go again,
Knowing that she’s the one
Who could complete my song,
The one who could make me whole,
The one who could keep me sane,
The one who kindles my flame.
Damn, it's happening again!
