Portraits

Portraits are meant to capture character.  They do not always have to portray the subject as happy.  The person does not always have to be looking directly into the lens.  They are usually more interesting if the person is involved in thought or some activity because they allow the person to think about something other than the camera.  However, timing is of the essence when creating a portrait of an individual and capturing the inner person is vital.  In most cases the eyes must be in clear focus and display some highlights.  However, that is a basic rule and as we all know rules are made to be broken.  Therefore, as you ponder the images below, cast your gaze upon personalities.

All prints are signed and numbered and can be ordered just with matting or matted and framed. Each series will be limited to 100 per issue. Many of these are also available as Giclees on canvas. Giclees on canvas are limited to 25 per issue. They are signed, numbered and framed. (Sorry, I choose the frames.) You can expect to receive 8x10 prints within 7 to 14 day. 16x20 prints and Giclees on canvas take a little longer to produce so please have patience. At max you may have to wait 4 weeks.
